The 5th Rosefield Conference on Circular Economy in Used Oil, held on 14th May 2026 at The LaLiT, New Delhi, brought together stakeholders from across the used oil value chain to discuss the future of responsible used oil management in India. The conference created an opportunity for oil companies, recyclers, collectors, policymakers, and technology providers to come together and exchange perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.

Responsible used oil management is becoming an important part of building a stronger circular economy.
NexG Petrolube Private Limited participated in the conference as an exhibitor, showcasing our approach to digitising used oil collection and recycling. Throughout the day, our stall welcomed visitors from different parts of the industry who were interested in understanding how technology can help make used oil collection more organised, transparent, and efficient. As a team, one of the things we enjoyed most was interacting with people who stopped by our stall. Some were already familiar with the challenges of used oil management, while others wanted to understand how a digital platform could simplify the collection process. These conversations gave us an opportunity to explain what we're building and why we believe organised collection and transparent recycling are the need of the hour.
At NexG Petrolube, our mission is simple: to help individuals and businesses dispose of used oil responsibly, create value through sustainable choices, and encourage cleaner and more transparent recycling practices. It was encouraging to see that many visitors shared the same belief that responsible used oil management is becoming an important part of building a stronger circular economy. Conferences like these give everyone in the industry a chance to meet under one roof. For us, it was an opportunity to introduce our work, interact with professionals from across the sector, and understand the expectations they have from organised collection systems and digital solutions. Throughout the day, we also met collectors, recyclers, manufacturers, and other industry professionals who visited our stall. Every interaction offered a different perspective on the work being done across the sector and the areas where stronger systems and better coordination can make a real difference.
One of the highlights of the conference was meeting Mr. S. Kannan, Executive Director & Business Head - Lubricants, BPCL. We discussed the importance of organised used oil collection and the role that collaboration can play in supporting responsible resource management. One of these discussions eventually led to an important development for NexG Petrolube, which we'll be sharing in our next blog.
